2023 Rules

ALL CLASSES WILL BE DETERMINED BY OFFICIALS. ALL DECISIONS ARE FINAL! IF IT’S NOT LISTED HERE – YOU CAN’T DO IT.

Absolutely no alcohol/drugs will be allowed before or during competition. Officials have the right to enforce and disqualify driver and vehicle from competition at this event, which no refund will be given. No hot-rodding will be allowed. Driver and vehicle will be disqualified, no refunds and will forfeit all winnings and entry fees. Drivers must have valid license and be at least 14 years old to compete. 14 & 15 year olds will be required to show proof of driver’s license and have licensed driver over 18 in vehicle. Will be required to pay rider fee. .

Truck entry fee for member is $20.00, non-members is $25.00; $20.00 goes to payout. ATV entry fee is members -$10.00 & non-members - $15.00; $10.00 goes to payout. 7B, 8A, 8B goes as followed, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th cash prizes paid back on 40%, 30%, 20%, & 10% split. Class 7B, 8A, 8B VEHICLE CAN ONLY PLACE ONCE!!! Classes 3, 4, X, 5, 6, 9, and 7A VEHICLE CAN ONLY place once and it pays 50%, 30%, 20% split. Classes 3, 4, X for members is $50 and for non-members its $55. 


 Vehicles are limited to 2 runs per class – 4 times total for the day. Vehicle CAN ONLY place in 3 classes

Riders must be at least 14 years old and have all safety equipment approved by officials that are equivalent to driver’s safety equipment. Riders are not allowed in class 3, 4, X & 5. Rider fee is $5.00 and will go to the pit operator. 
NO interference from the riders during the run. If the rider interferes with the driver, the run will be disqualified. The driver must be able to drive vehicle without the assistance of the rider. 

NO REFUNDS AT ALL!!!

DRIVER SAFETY:

  In ALL CLASSES driver and rider MUST wear Snell 2010 or newer helmet!!!!!
  Absolutely NO fuel transmission or water lines ALLOWED in cab UNLESS shielded from driver!!!

NO open footwear or shorts will be ALLOWED. Classes 3, 4, X, 9, 5, 6 and 7A are required to wear fire suit FR Clothing. 

Classes 3, 4, X, 9, and 5 (if nitrous) are required to wear complete fire suit (including head sock, shoes and gloves), unless naturally aspirated with gasoline fuel. A full leather shoe/boot will be accepted. 

All vehicles in classes 3-7A must carry a fully charged 2-1/2lb. A, B, or C fire extinguisher with a dial gauge and approved by ICC, UL, or Coast Guard. This is also recommended for all other vehicles. 
Must be mounted in plain view and in suitable quick release bracket securely mounted within driver’s reach. Behind driver is not accepted. 

Vehicles without full windshield are required to wear face shield, goggles, or safety glasses. Sunglasses are not accepted. 
All vehicles are required stock factory seatbelts for driver and rider. A 4/5 – point harness is recommended. In vehicles with cab swaps, 4-point harness is required. 7A & up 4point cage is required.

 HITCHING POINT: 

Hitching point must be easily accessible and of substantial construction. No tow hooks, chains, cables, or frame rail holes permitted. Shackles or pulling on the rear axle are not accepted. If using the stock or an add-on bumper; the mounting brackets must be at least ¼” thick, with all bolts in place. A rear axle hitching point is accepted on vehicles with 3 or 4-link suspension, subject to official’s approval. Hitching point must have a clevis with a 2-inch loop. A penile hook (rather than a clevis) will pass as long as the top jaw locks and releases properly. 

TIRES:

If not stamped, official will measure horizontal across lock out.

RUNNING ORDER:

4, 3, X, 5, 6, 9, 7A, 7B, 8A, 8B. Class 1A, 1, 2, and UTV will run where we can fit them in. UTV will RUN IN THE MUD PIT. Classes 1A, 1, 2 will run in ATV pit when offered. This is also up to discretion of an official.  There will be no re-run option in any class.


REGISTER AND STAGE

Vehicles will be inspected by officials and must register 1 hour before event time begins. After that time, vehicle will be considered late. Late entries run 1st in class, unless it is an advantage for the competitor to run 1st. Officials have final say on late penalty 

DRIVERS MEETING: 

Driver’s meeting is mandatory for all drivers. It will be held 30 minutes before running begins


CLASS 1A - ATV
1.110 cc 
2.Must demonstrate to tech official the ability to drive.

CLASS 1 – ATV  
1. No duel wheels
2.ATV’s must be in 2-wheel drive
3.Must demonstrate to tech official the ability to drive.

CLASS 2 – ATV 4 x 4 
1. 4x4 ATV’s  
2.Must demonstrate to tech official the ability to drive.  

Class 2A UTV/SIDE by SIDE
1. Must demonstrate to tech official the ability to drive the UTV
2. Helmet
3. WILL DRIVE IN MUD PIT 


  CLASS 3 – SUPER MODIFIED UP TO 44” DOT CUT TIRES (Buggies & Trucks)

1. NO tractor-tire vehicles 
2. 6-point roll cage
3. 4x4 with front and rear differentials 
4. May be chain or gear driven
5. Frame can be tube or rectangle
6. 150” wheel base max
7. Any type engine and modification
8. Dual carburetors, injection, turbo and supercharges allowed
9. Gasoline, alcohol or nitrous allowed
10. Body needs to have FIRE wall and SIDE panels.
11. Floor plate/floor pan over transmission and driveline
12. Firewall must be between driver and engine
13. No adding rubber to tires
14. Transmission shield required 
15. Kill switch – must be at furthest point on back of vehicle 
16. If running blower MUST run restraints
17. FIRE SUIT IS REQUIRED!!!!NO OPEN SHOES!!

CLASS 4 – SUPER MODIFIED UP TO 44” Unlimited Paddle Tires (buggies & trucks) 

1. Same rules as class 3, except can use paddle tires 
2. Transmission shield required 
3. Kill switch – must be at furthest point on back of vehicle
4. If running blower MUST run restraints
5. FIRE SUIT IS REQUIRED!!!! NO OPEN SHOES!!

CLASS X – OPEN 

1. If cab swap, must have 6-point roll cage & 4-point harness
2. Any heads allowed
3. Any fuel allowed
4. Must have truck/car – like appearance (FRONT CLIP, CAB, & BEDSIDES) 
5. Chain drive allowed
6. Any type suspension
7. Four – link allowed
8. Transmission shield required
9. Kill switch – has to be at the back of vehicle if body swap
10. Minimum of 1 drive shaft loop per drive shaft if longer than 24 inches you need 2 loops
11. Can be 2x3 main rail with round tubing front and back half
12. Shield covering all visible u-joints
13. Engine may be set back no more than 24” from centerline of front axle to harmonic balancer. If any part of the engine is inside cab driver needs to be shielded from engine and carburetors.
14. If running blower MUST use blower restraints
14. FIRE SUIT REQUIRED!!!NO OPEN SHOES!!!

CLASS 9 – TRACTOR TIRE

1. Vehicles that run-in classes 3 & 4 CANNOT run in class 9 
2. No buggies
3. 2x4 or 4x4 allowed
4. Any wheelbase allowed
5. Tractor, implement bar lug
6. Any fuel
7. Shield covering all visible u-joints
8. Kill switch mandatory
9. Must have 2 tractor tires AND may run 2 uncut DOT tires
10. FIRE SUIT REQUIRED!!!! NO OPEN SHOES!!!

CLASS 5 – SUPER MOFIFIED UP TO ANY SIZE TIRE

1. Dual carburetors and injection allowed
2. NO Aluminum Blocks 
3. If cab swap, must have 6-point roll cage and 4-point harness
4. Minimum of 1 drive shaft loop per drive shaft, if drive shaft is over 24” long requires 2 loops
5. If running Nitrous MUST run UNCUT DOTs. IF running ALL motor you can run cuts
6. Chain drive allowed
7. Engine must be within 12” from centerline of front axle to harmonic balancer
8. Any type suspension
9. Transmission shield required
10. Kill switch – has to be at the back of the vehicle mandatory
11. Factory frame back axle to front axle
12. Shield covering all visible u-joints
13. Tranny brake allowed
14. Front axles must be within 12” of centerline of fender
15. Body requirements. Front clip, cab, doors, bedside
16. FIRE SUIT REQUIRED!!!! NO OPEN SHOES!!!!

CLASS 6 – SUPER MODIFIED UP TO 40” CUT OR UNCUT

1. Single Carburetors or throttle body fuel injectors are allowed
2. No nitrous – Alcohol allowed
3. No exotic heads must be conventional head 23 or 24-degree head, NO Spread Port EXCEPT FOR FORD PRODUCTION HEADS and NO SR20 Heads.
4. If cab swap, must have 6-point roll cage & 4-point harness
5. Minimum of 1 drive shaft loop per drive shaft; if drive shaft is over 24” long requires 2 loops
6. Transmission shield required 
7. Kill switch – must be at the back of the vehicle.
8. Harmonic balancer need to be over center line of front axle
9. Factory frame minimum axle to axle NO dramatic reconstruction
10. Shield covering all visible u-joints
11. Factory style suspension NON-Adjustable NO EXCEPTIONS
12. Front axles must be within 12” of centerline of fender
13. Tranny brakes allowed 
14. Body NEEDS to be intact! (FRONT CLIPS, CABS, DOORS, AND BEDSIDES)
15. JEEPS CAN REMOVE DOORS
16. No tunnel Rams or sheet metal intake
17. Chain drive or after market T case allowed
18. FIRE SUIT REQUIRED!!!NO OPEN SHOES!!!

CLASS 7A – SUPER MODIFIED UP TO 38.5”

1. Single carburetors or throttle body fuel injectors are allowed.
2. No nitrous – alcohol allowed
3. No exotic heads must be conventional head 23 degree and 24-degree head NO Spread Port EXCEPT FOR FORD PRODUCTION HEADS NO SR20 HEADS.
4. If cab swap, must have 6-point roll cage & 4-point harness
5. Kill switch – has to be at the back of the vehicle.
6. Minimum of 1 drive shaft loop per drive shaft; if drive shaft is over 24” long requires 2 loops
7. Tranny shield required
8. No aluminum engine blocks
9. Harmonic balancer need to be over center line of front axle
10. Factory frame minimum axle to axle NO DRAMTIC RECONSTRUCTION
11. Shield covering all visible u-joints
12. Front axles must be within 12” of centerline of factory fender
13. Tranny brakes allowed
14. Factory style suspension NON-adjustable NO EXCEPTIONS
15. Body NEEDS to be intact. (FRONT CLIP, CABS, DOORS, BEDSIDES)
16. JEEPS CAN REMOVE DOORS
17. Factory transfer case ONLY
18. No tunnel Rams or sheet metal intake
19. FIRE SUIT REQUIRED!! NO OPEN SHOES!!



CLASS 7B – STOCK MODIFIED UP TO 38.5”

1. Engine must match make of truck
2. Push button and toggle switch OK for STARTING purpose MSD ignition allowed
3. Traction devices are allowed
4. No dual carburetors or throttle body fuel injectors are allowed.
5. No aftermarket aluminum heads
6. Stalls allowed
7. No cab swaps
8. Engine MUST be in stock location
9. Radiator in stock location Battery may be moved to back of vehicle, if moved to back MUST have kill switch.
10. No aluminum engine blocks and NO aftermarket blocks
11. Open headers are allowed
12. Tranny brakes allowed
13. No axle swaps
14. Flat beds are allowed BUT MUST be minimum of 300# load bearing. MUST be width of cab and length of frame, and MUST be BUILT of substantial construction  
15. Full factory body, windows. ONLY exception is for tire clearance ONLY. ALSO NO REMOVING OR CUTTING BODY PARTS OFF. (THIS CLASS IS INTENDED FOR A STOCK OPERATING VEHICLE WITH A MODIFIED ENGINE!! 
16 NO SHORTS OR OPEN FOOTWEAR IS ALLOWED


  8A STOCK MODIFIED UP TO 34”

1. Engine must match make of truck
2. Push button and toggle switch is OK for STARTING purpose MSD IS ALLOWED
3. Traction devices are allowed
4. No dual carburetors
5. No aftermarket aluminum heads
6. Stalls allowed
7. Full factory body, windows. –ONLY exception is for tire clearance ONLY. NO REMOVING OR CUTTING BODY PARTS OFF. (THIS CLASS IS INTENDED FOR A STOCK OPERATING VEHICLE WITH A MODIFIED ENGINE.
8. Radiator in stock location. Battery may be moved to back of vehicle, if moved to back MUST have kill switch
9. No cab swaps
10. No aluminum engine blocks an NO aftermarket blocks
11. Open headers are allowed
12. Engine must be in stock location
13. No axle swaps
14. Tranny brakes allowed
15. Rev-limiter is allowed, MSD is allowed
16. Flat beds are allowed BUT MUST be minimum of 300# load bearing. MUST be width of cab and length of frame, and MUST be BUILT of substantial construction  
17. NO SHORTS OR OPEN FOOT WEAR IS ALLOWED!!!




CLASS 8B – STOCK UP TO 44”

 This class is for your everyday drivers so at any given time you may be asked to drive 5 miles to meet someone to get a token to prove it is a daily driver!!!!!!!!
1. Factory interior 
2. Stock ignition 
3. No racing fuel or additives or E85
4. No stalls 
5. No traction devices
6. Engine must match make of vehicle 
7. Full factory body – only exception, tire clearance
8. Battery & radiator in stock location 
9. Fuel tank needs to be factory location unless relocating out of cab. Fuel cell ok. Must have rollover valve and be securely fastened
10. Must pull 16 in # vacuum at 900 RPM
11. No cab swap
12. No aluminum engine blocks
13. Exhaust must be behind driver’s door with mufflers
14. No tranny brakes
15. No aftermarket heads or blocks
16. If running flatbed MUST hold 300# load bearing. MUST be width of cab and length of frame, and MUST be BUILT of substantial construction.
17. MUST have front bumper and rear bumper.
18. No Electric fuel pumps or water pumps MUST USE FACTORY PUMPS!
19. NO Electric fane unless factory Equipped.  
20. NO SHORTS OR OPEN FOOT WEAR IS ALLOWED!!!
